The costumed characters portray a fictional family from the year 1771, and remain in character as they invite you to step back in time with them as a new friend or neighbor who is dropping by to visit. Visitors can participate in programs and learn what it was like to live on a tobacco farm in the late 18th century.

The mill operated 24/7, processing more than 60,000 bushels of wheat per year.
