Beaverdam Creek Reservoir is a beautiful lake teaming with wildlife, surrounded by hardwood trees, and home to residents such as the bald eagle. This refuge was mostly wetland, open fields, woods, and a few creeks before 1990. In that year, an earthen dam was constructed through Beaverdam Swamp.
