The Claude Moore Colonial Farm at Turkey Run is a living history museum that portrays family life on a small, low-income farm just prior to the Revolutionary War. The costumed characters portray a fictional family from the year 1771, and remain in character as they invite you to step back in time with them as a new friend or neighbor who is dropping by to visit. Visitors can participate in programs and learn what it was like to live on a tobacco farm in the late 18th century.
