Handley Regional Library :: Winchester VA
The Handley Library Opened in 1913 and is probably the best example of Beaux-Arts architecture in Virginia. It features a three story rotunda, interior stained-glass dome, exterior copper dome, historic light fixtures, and glass stack floors. Located in the basement are the Stewart Bell Jr. Archives that house a comprehensive collection of materials pertaining to the Shenandoah Valleyfrom 1732 to present.
